Caving / Abseiling

On Tuesday and Wednesday this week the Pikelets were lucky enough to be able to access a private cave system at the Waipu Caves. We had an abseiling instructor help us abseil down a 20m drop into a cave entrance. The caving was an amazing experience, the Pikelets were underground for almost two hours and spent a lot of time crawling and sliding on their bellies. 

Thank you to all the parents who attended and especially Clayton Hills for organising access to the caves.
